Why is Continuous Line Shoing Up as Hidden

Red face Lines showing up Dashed instead of Solid

I've been drawing in CAD since forever and my line (when drawing one) always shows up solid.

But NOW it's showing up dashed .....

Is there a setting to change this?

make sure the line is continuous & not dashed, hidden, dots, etc.

    oh it's definitely continuous ...

the way it shows up is more like when you click and drag to the upper left. that type of dashed style. it's not really a line .....

    you lost me on that.........
is there a thickness to the line? is it plotting correctly? did your grid accidentally get turned on?

let me try to re-explain ...

you draw a line and when selecting the next point, CAD shows you the linetype of your line.

But when I draw a line now, I get this dashed thing that isn't a line ... it's more like a ghostly representation of a line ...

it seems to me like a line display setting. Nothing to do with layers, linetypes or anything like that. Seems to me like I changed a system variable acidentally .......

Is this in a custom lisp routine? The only thng I can think of off the top of my head that would change it would be using bit 32 for initget. Unless it is a driver issue.

Is this the "rubber band" line between the last point picked and the next point to be picked?
AFAIK, changes to this would be a display driver thing.

    ______________
What version are you working in? What is your LTSCALE variable set to? if in 2006-7 are you using the DYNamic drawing features? What is the current resolution of your video card?
